Hello, I’m Adam Nagy.

I sometimes write about the governance of artificial intelligence, digital rights, and ongoing controversies in Internet law. I am currently a JD candidate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Previously, I spent five years as a project coordinator and researcher at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University (BKC).

At BKC, I helped build and run the Risk Assessments Tools Database, which is an ongoing effort to gather information about the various actuarial tools used to inform decision-making at various stages of the U.S. criminal justice system. I also co-authored the widely-cited paper, Principled Artificial Intelligence: Mapping Consensus in Ethical and Rights-Based Approaches to Principles for AI and the less widely-cited Is Lawful AI Ethical AI?
